UNIVERSAL CITY (GaeaTimes.com)- At the MTV Movie Awards that were held in Universal City, in California, at the Gibson Amphitheater Venue, many of the recipients of the various awards did not quite win the approval of many of the observers, who felt that in many of the categories, the awards could have been given out to the more deserving candidates. On the other hand, some of the nominations were just right, and the awards could not have gone to anyone else. One such example was the nomination of the Best WTF Moment, which went to Ken Jeong, and critics were of the unanimous opinion that the award could not have been given out to anyone else.
Ken Jeong won the MTV Movie award in the category of the Best WTF Moment for the film “The Hangover”. In the film, he plays the role of the scheming but hilarious Mr. Chow. In fact, Ken Jeong had won nominations in two categories for the role of Mr. Chow, one for the Best WTF Moment and the other for the Best Villain. However, although he took home the award for the Best WTF Moment, he was not able to beat Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy, who became the best villain for the film “Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince”.
The award for the Best WTF Moment for the film “The Hangover” went to Ken Jeong for the scene in which he jumps out of the car, stark naked, and that too in broad daylight, before the alarmed and surprised eyes of the two other male co-stars in the film. Needless to say, critics opined that the shot definitely called for the WTF award.
