Aziz Ansari Hosts MTV Movie Awards

UNIVERSAL CITY (GaeaTimes.com)- As the curtain of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards was lifted at the Gibson Amphitheater venue in Universal City, California the one man who made people laugh hard with each and every spoken line was Aziz Ansari the standup comedian of the “Parks and Recreation”. Aziz Ansari acted as the host of the star studded 19th annual MTV Movie Awards ceremony and added humor to the glamorous award ceremony. During the two hours ceremony, Aziz Ansari slipped into many different characters and made the audience laugh loud. However, it was not a non-stop nonsense and many of his comic statements seemed to have puns hidden in them.

An excited Aziz Ansari had said to media sources before that he had prepared himself to host the MTV Movie Awards from the beginning of his career and on Sunday his labor was visible in front of the whole audience and viewers who stick to their television set to see the creations of Aziz Ansari. The host dressed in a white tuxedo Jacket and a bow tie started the show by cracking jokes on the 3D films and the normal films. During the show he also paid homage to “Avatar” by crooning like Robert Sylvester Kelly. He also threw some jabs on BP which left the audience laughing loud. He also did a comedy sketch on stage as Taavon, the Swagga Coach.

Though in the midst of the performances by some of the most well known faces of Hollywood film Industry Aziz Ansari got very little stage time, he was able to utilize that to the fullest and lived up to the expectation of the audience.
