LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Friday night episode of ABC’s “20/20″ turned out to be an interesting one with ABC News correspondent David Muir investigation and revealing intriguing details about the case of the conviction of Stacey Castor. The show was titled “black widow” and the correspondent of the news channel who was provided with first hand information on the murder case of David Castor tried to find out whether the claims made by Stacey Castor of her being innocent is true or false.
Stacey Castor the widow of David Castor was charged with the murder of her husband. She was charged with second degree murder charges of David Castor by the use of anti-freeze and also second degree attempted murder of her own daughter Ashley Wallace whom she severed a poisonous cocktail mixture in 2007. The court proceeding back in 2007 made headlines in local newspapers. Stacey Castor tried to implicate her daughter in the murder case of her husband and tried to frame the case of a murder suicide plot. However, around three years after Stacey Castor’s conviction who is at present serving her 1/3-year-to-life sentence at the New York State Prison, ABC’s exclusive interview of the convicted shows that Stacey Castor still claims innocence in the case and maintains that she would never agree to the charges that have been brought against her.
The ABC not only digs into Stacey Castor’s past and the case, but also provided present details on it. The ABC reported that Stacey Castor is going to appeal the guilty verdict. The new appellate lawyer of Stacey Castor has already filed a motion in March 2010 where he had questioned the police interview of Stacey Castor. However, no date as of yet has been provided to argue the case in the Court.
