SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- The Dragon Ball Z animation series is back on American screens with a bang! The new and improved version Dragon Ball Z Kai has hit TV sets on Monday with 4 back to back episodes of the epic saga. The latest release, airing on Nicktunes is a well edited concise version of the originals that focuses mainly on the important events and the epic battles.
The essence of the original Dragon Ball Z, which ran 291 episodes over 7 years, has been well retained. In a recent interview Chris Sabat, the ADR director for Dragon Ball Z Kai voice behind Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamcha and others, revealed that this version has been created with the latest animation technology that is set to take the American audience into the Dragon Ball Z universe. Sen Schemmel who was also present in the interview is the voice behind the most powerful hero in the Dragon Ball Z universe- Kakarot or Goku. He also lends voice to God in the form of King Kai.
The story of Dragon Ball Z Kai will follow Kakarot’s quest for revenge against the Saiyans and later an epic battle between the warriors on Earth and the last two powerful Saiyans- Nappa and Vegeta. There are extraordinary scenes of battles that can leave the viewers breathless.
