Jagger’s Drug Trial Blasted

An Isle of Man official has dismissed SIR MICK JAGGER’s proposal to legalise marijuana on the British island.
The Rolling Stones rocker, who was convicted of possessing narcotics in the 1960s, recently argued that cannabis use should be permitted on the Isle of Man, a British Crown dependency in the Irish Sea.
He urged officials to allow people to use the substance to test the consequences and see if legalising it would prevent drug-related violence.
But the plan has not been met with approval from authorities.
Department of Home Affairs officer Bill Malarkey says, “I don’t think we could use the Manx people as guinea pigs.”
