Lawmakers in Los Angeles have rejected a plea deal offer by the alleged ringleader of Hollywood’s ‘bling-ring’ burglary gang, insisting there is no agreement on the table.

Attorneys for Nicholas Prugo claim prosecutors suggested an implied deal for his assistance in helping them track down those responsible for break-ins and burglaries at the homes of Orlando Bloom, Rachel Bilson and Paris Hilton, among other celebrities.

On Wednesday (12May10), Deputy District Attorney Sarika Kim told a Los Angeles court that the motion was premature. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Darrell Mavis rejected Prugo’s plea deal.

Prugo is charged with seven counts of felony residential burglary.

A fellow member of the burglary gang, 18-year-old Alexis Neiers, accepted a charge of first-degree residential burglary earlier this week (10May10) and will serve six months behind bars after raiding actor Bloom’s home last summer (Jul09).
