LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM (GaeaTimes.com)- If reports are to be believed Susan Boyle could well be heading to London as she seriously embraces herself for her stint in the musical ‘Les Miserables’. As preparations are on for the 25th anniversary celebrations of ‘Les Miserables’, producers are on the lookout for a suitable role for Susan Boyle.
It is said that Susan Boyle has been a very big fan of the West End production after she got the chance to watch one of their performances when the group was touring in Edinburgh. Therefore she would love to be a part of the team. The singer’s representatives are in talks with the ‘Les Miserables’ bosses and the audience will hopefully get to see Susan Boyle very soon playing the role of Fantine in the West End production. Fantine, in the musical, is a worker who decides to become a prostitute after she loses her job. Prostitution helps her to earn the money required for her daughter’s welfare.
‘Les Miserables’ will also give the singer an opportunity to sing to the tunes of “I Dreamed A Dream”, the song that initially made her popular on the show “Britain’s Got Talent”. It has been reported that Susan Boyle met up with the entire team of ‘Les Miserables’ during their presentation in Edinburgh recently and it is then that the singer expressed a desire to work in the musical. She and her team are supposedly in talks with Cameron Mackintosh, the producer of ‘Les Miserables’ to discuss in detail her upcoming role in the famous West End production. For the 25th anniversary celebrations, the musical is all set to release its video and CD.
