Lynn Redgrave Dies At 67

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Actress Lynn Redgrave passed away on Sunday night at her Connecticut home. The 67 years-old actress was suffering from breast cancer since 2003 and her death was caused due to it. The family of Lynn Redgrave on Monday, released a statement in which it declared the sad news of the actress’ demise. Lynn Redgrave who got divorced from John Clark in 2000 is survived by her sister, and her own three children and five grandchildren.
Lynn Redgrave was the youngest daughter of Micheal Redgrave and one of the members of the Redgrave family who have contributed to the world of theater for generations. The actress was twice nominated for her performance in Oscars, twice for Emmy Awards and for three times in Tony Awards. The death of Lynn Redgrave who had also taken to writing plays for the last two decades, has left both the world of theater and cinema shocked. Remembering Lynn Redgrave director Michael Winner said that she was a “phenomenal actress” who was at ease with any kind of role, be it a comedy or a tragedy. The director also added that the actress did not care about fame and was involved in many causes.
After hearing the death news of Lynn Redgrave, saddened Michael Parkinson said that the actress was the most likable and the jolliest among all the members of the Redgrave family. He also added that she was an open character and a person who could gel up well with everybody. Being a member of the Redgrave family, Lynn Redgrave could help other than becoming a good actress according to Michael Parkinson.
