April 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): With the entire country curiously awaiting Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’, the filmmaker has decided to launch the film’s audio as a grand occasion for the Tamil version as well. Previously, it was mentioned that Big Pictures, T-Series, and Mani Ratnam had plans about releasing the Hindi version in Mumbai with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, and others taking part in it.
Since Sony Music has acquired the audio rights of the Tamil and Telugu versions, they are planning to host the audio launches in both Chennai and Hyderabad simultaneously. According to the sources, Mani Ratnam will release the teasers of ‘Raavana’ and its Telugu version titled ‘Villain’ by next week before its audio launch.
Soon after this release, A.R. Rahman will have one of his Telugu films ‘Puli’ audio being released by Sony Music. Possibly, this season is gonna be a tremendous treat for his fans.
