Music launch of Nooru Janmaku

April 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Businessman Vinay Lad’s maiden Kannada production venture Nooru Janmaku had its music launch recently. Directed by Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar, the movie’s album was launched at Chancery Pavilion at Bangalore on Monday evening.

Smt. Sumalatha Ambarish and actor Puneeth Rajakumar released the album, which is produced by Anand Audio.

This is Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar’s 12th directorial venture. The album features a song, America America, penned by the director himself and it has been set to tune by popular music director Mano Murthy. The director has also written the song Nooru Janmaku Nooraru Janmaku for the movie.

He addressed the media where he stated that to make a good film, he needs to have a good script and the right kind of producer.

Actor Santosh of Kallarali Hoovagi fame plays the lead role in the movie, with actress Aindrita Ray playing the heroine. Telugu actor Adarsh will be playing a negative role. Aindrita was absent from the music launch because of the slapping controversy that happened between her and the director.

Singers Rajesh Krishnan, MD Pallavi, Hemanth and Chitra were present at the event with supporting artists Bank Janardhana, Veena Bhat and the editor of the film Basavaraj Urs.
