Oksana Grigorieva And Mel Gibson Split

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Mel Gibson has split from his girlfriend of more than a year, Oksana Grigorieva. The news was made public by a popular media source who claimed that a close friend of the couple has revealed the news. The media source also claimed that the friend has told that Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva had split few months ago, adding that the split did not happen due to one dumping the other but rather an amicable decision taken by both of them. The former couple however, has decided to share the responsibility of their five month old daughter Lucia.
Though sources have claimed that the couple has split, nothing as such has been confirmed by the spokesperson of Mel Gibson. When asked by the media, the spokesperson declined to comment on the matter. The unnamed friend has maintained that both Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva are busy with their respective careers. While Mel Gibson at present is shooting for “How I Spent My Summer Vacation”, pianist Oksana Grigorieva is according to reports, planning a concert in Russia.
However, this is not the first split in the life of both the stars. Mel Gibson got divorced from his wife of 30 years last year after three years of separation. The divorce settlement was however, amicably completed and the two issued a joint statement claiming that they will continue to maintain the privacy and integrity of their family which consisted of their seven children. Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva got close to each other while the later was working for the film “Edge of Darkness”. Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson were dating each other for more than a year.
