(GaeaTimes.com)- The “American Idol” Wednesday elimination episode was made memorable with the performances of former contestants like Adam Lambert and Brooke White. While Adam Lambert who had also mentored the present contestants for this week’s performances, sang “Whataya Want from Me,” Brooke White and Justin Gaston performed a duet of the famous song “If I can Dream”. Though Justin Gaston had never been an “American Idol” contestant, he had enough reasons to be in the show as he had featured in the web series of “If I Can Dream” and also been the former boyfriend of Miley Cyrus.
Amidst the anxiety of the contestants and the viewers in the elimination round, the performance of Brooke White and Justin Gaston was a welcome break. For the performance Brooke White played the Piano and Justin Gaston strummed the guitar. Though the latter missed the notes at some places during the performance, Brooke White was able to pull off the performance well. She managed not only to coordinate with her song partner but also with people around her. Though the performance was not one of the brilliant ones in the show there is no doubt it came up with a nostalgic feel not only for the choice of the song but also for Brooke White returning to the “American Idol” stage.
Apart from Brooke White and Justin Gaston’s duet performance, another performance which made the episode memorable was that of Adam Lambert’s. Adam Lambert performed “Whataya Want from Me” which was made interesting with the laser lights, smoke and other special background effects. All added to make the episode another memorable one of the “American Idol” Season 9.
