Brahmaputra movie launched in grandeur

April 13, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The complete season of April seems to be flooded lots of movie launches as the producers feel this period as an auspicious time to kick-start their projects. The film ‘Brahmaputra’ was launched yesterday morning at AVM Studios.

The film is produced by Golden Media and is directed by Ram Prabha now rechristened as Thomas, who earlier made a film titled ‘Kalinga’. Although, the film’s title carries the name of Indian River, the story has got nothing to do with water issues (since the films based on water issues are common in Kollywood).

‘Brahmaputra’ features Murali of ‘Thirudi’ fame in lead role while Bangalore based model Akshatha makes her debut in a female lead role. The film centers on a youngster, whose life gets squeezed in discombobulating when he chooses a wrong path.

Sunil Xavier scores music for this film while J. Mohan cranks the camera and Saravanan of ‘Pirivoam Sandhipoam’ fame handles editing with newcomer Rajesh handling the public relations tasks….
