Jason Derulo Perfroms In “American Idol”

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Jason Derulo was the star performer on Wednesday Night’s “American Idol” Season 9 elimination round. The American song writer and singer who had climbed to fame last year and had released his debut album this march, was able to make the show a worthy watch. The usually tearful elimination round of Wednesday night was enlivened by the performance of Jason Derulo who helped the participants and the viewers to forget for some time the impending elimination.
Jason Derulo chose to wear a studded jacket for his appearance in the show on Wednesday. He went on to sing some of his hit songs from his previous singles and also from his newly released debut album. Jason Derulo performed “In My Head” and “Whatcha Say”. However, he did not only sing the songs but also tapped his foot with the song making his performance a complete one. The judges’ as well as the participants enjoyed the enthusiastic performance. Jason Derulo was praised after his performance not only by Kara DioGuardi but also by the otherwise critical Simon Cowell. Kara DioGuardi went on to say that Jason Derulo is an efficient song writer and singer. Simon Cowell appreciated the singer’s attempt as all other judges maintained that Jason Derulo has been able to win a place in everybody’s heart by the Wednesday night performance in the show.
The “American Idol” this season is bringing some young singers and performers not only as mentors in the show but also as performers and guests. This season Miley Cyrus mentored the contestants and according to reports, Adam Lambert will be mentoring the top eight contestants for the next week performance.
