John Forsythe Dies At 92

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- John Forsythe, who is best known for his role as Blake Carrington in the popular soap opera “Dynasty” died on Thursday due to complications arising from Pneumonia. The actor was also diagnosed with cancer a year ago and was since then battling with death. The 92 years old actor breathed his last in Santa Yenz. The publicist of John Forsythe has said to the media that the family wants the dead actor’s fans to pay their last tribute by donating money to the American Cancer Society.
On hearing the news of the death of John Forsythe, his former screen ex-wife in “Dynasty” Joan Collins remembered the actor as one of the few true gentlemen who are left in the acting profession. Joan Collins played the role of Alexis. She also mentioned that she had enjoyed immensely her fights and feuds with her on screen ex-husband Blake Corrington for eight years. Another co-star Heather Locklear remembered John Forsythe as a “gifted actor” who according to her knew the meaning of being gracious and kind. John Forsythe had lent his smooth voice to the mysterious character Charlie in the popular “Charlie’s Angels”. Cheryl Ladd mourned the death of the actor who according to her was a talented, gorgeous, funny and intelligent man.
John Forsythe is survived by his last wife Nicole Carter-Forsythe and three children. He also has six grand children and five great-grandchildren. Brooke Forsythe, his daughter reportedly said that the actor died the way he lived. He had a dignified and graceful death. The family, according to publicist Harlan Ball plans not to hold any public service.
