Erik Menendez Crime Revisited On A&E

LOS ANGELES, (GaeaTimes.com)-A&E broadcast a documentary on the life of Tammi Menedez-Saccoman- the wife of infamous murderer Erik Menendez on Monday, at 11 pm. The show revisited the crime committed by Erik Menendez. The show offered a sharp insight into Tammi Menendez’s relation with Erik Menendez and also depicted strongly how difficult it has been for the woman to live a life as the wife of murderer Erik Menendez.

Erik Menendez, along with his brother Lyle Menendez, shot their parents to death by a shotgun while they used to reside at their Beverly Hills house. Later, the two brothers escaped the crime scene and went for a movie to fake their absence. However, they were caught and trialled several times before they were sentenced to life long prison without parole option. The jury had been kind towards Erik Menendez and his brother Lyle Menendez as the two brothers had no prior criminal records before.

Tammi Saccoman has lived a controversial life as Erik Menendez’s wife and these years has not been easy for her. The A&E show brought about many unknown facts about Erik Menendez and his life. It was said that the two brothers had killed their parents to procure the enormous wealth which they owned. The defense attorney however told the court that the murder was an outcome of year long psychological and sexual abuse on the boys by their father. The trial was broadcast by Court TV which accounted for its widespread viewing, that made all witness the brutal crime that these two brothers had committed.
