LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- “Is Dennis Hopper Dead?” was the question that haunted his fans when the rumor spread that the actor has expired. The rumor got viral after sources revealed that the actor had fallen outside his house on Thursday. The fans of Dennis Hopper became anxious to know about their beloved actor’s condition. Fans would be happy to know that Dennis Hopper is not dead and had even managed to make it to the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Friday where he was honored with the star for his contribution to the world of Hollywood cinema.

Though Dennis Hopper is not dead, he is reportedly in an advanced stage of his prostrate cancer. The actor is not being able to take any more chemotherapy treatment and is under the observation of doctors. The prostrate cancer has left the actor frail and he was helped to the stage on Friday by a friend. He had to take special permission from his physician to come to the function. On stage, the actor revealed that the bandages on his eye and right arm are due to the fall that he had suffered on Thursday. The actor though weakened by the disease, was able to give a short speech. In his speech, Dennis Hopper thanked the Hollywood fraternity and said that what ever he has learned is due to his involvement with Hollywood.

Dennis Hopper was on Friday surrounded by friends and well wishers. Some of his friends from the Hollywood film fraternity gave voice to their thoughts about the legendary actor who had been involved in more than 100 films. He was flanked with Viggo Mortensen, Jack Nicholson, Dwight Yoakam, David Lynch and many others.
