“Predators”: The First Look

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Doomed on an alien planet, the human race is left at the mercy of ruthless killing in the hands of the deadly “Predator“. That’s how goes the storyline as revealed in its very first look of producer Robert Rodriguez’s “Predators”. The so called first look of the movie, “Predators” that was being showcased at the SXSW (South by Southwest Interactive) Film and Music Festival went on full swing last Friday.

Although there has been a couple of previous iterations by the same title and a television mini series, this movie claims to be a different experience altogether as it depicts the extreme trauma of human race pinned down by heavy threats at the hands of the so called “Predator” who bodes ill for one and all.

The film casts Hollywood biggies like Adrien Brody and Danny Trejo. Adrien Brody plays the character of Royce who is a prominent among the mercenaries who blindly follow the lead of a group of elite warriors and finally lands upon the doomed land of the aliens where the new clan of blood thirsty killers challenge them in a survival chase amidst a spine chilling environ where death is the only friend. The director of the movie is Nimrod Antal who have directed thrillers like “Vacancy “. The movie is slotted for an United States release on July 7, 2010. Besides the first look at the South by Southwest Interactive Film and Music Festival, 20th Century Fox is also broadcasting the sneak peek footage which is open to one and all for viewing and is being put up on the official “Predators” movie website.
