LAHORE - Cricketer-turned-politician and chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) party Imran Khan has accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif of maintaining double standards.
Addressing a election rally here, Khan blamed Sharif of possessing a dual face to deceive the local public and please his ‘foreign’ friends.
“Nawaz Sharif can never play with neutral umpires like he used to play cricket in presence of his own umpires,” The Nation quoted Khan, as saying.
“Nawaz Sharif should bring his money and assets back to the country if he was sincere in improving economy,” he added.
He said the Opposition and the ruling party were two sides of the same coin and both want to safeguard their vested interests.
“Rulers and Opposition were never sincere to the people and this is the reason the poor man is facing all sorts of miseries in the country,” Khan said. (ANI)
