Wang Jets To Winter Games To Cheer On Skater

Designer VERA WANG has turned her back on New York Fashion Week to cheer on U.S. figure skater EVAN LYSACEK at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Wang jetted off to Canada on Tuesday (16Feb10) to catch Lysacek on ice.
A former figure skater herself, Wang has created the winter sports star’s wardrobe for the Olympics.
It’s not the first she has designed outfits for competing skaters - she previously crafted dresses for Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan - but it’s the first time she has styled an ice man.
Lysacek goes for gold on Thursday (18Feb10).
