Chris Golightly Vanishes From ‘American Idol’

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- It seems that the organizers of the popular reality show ‘American Idol’ always have some tricks up their sleeves for the viewers that they pop out unexpectedly. How else one can explain the mysterious disappearance of Chris Golightly, the cute looking and curly haired contestant? He was seen cheering and standing with a group of boys and girls who got selected as the top 24 candidates for the semifinal round of the show. The show is in its 9th season now.

The viewers saw him after a short break with 11 others boys who were announced as top 12 male candidates. However, Chris Golightly was not seen when Ryan Seacrest, the host of the show started declaring the names of the selected contestants. Fox showed short video clips of every semi finalist on stage. In those videos too he was nowhere to be seen. This created confusion among a large section of the viewers. They could not understand if the guy was shown the door or was a part of it. Also, as nothing was exactly said out loud, the viewers were left to wonder about the issue. No one expected him to vanish all of a sudden.

Just as Chris Golightly vanished from the show, another contestant named Tim Urban appeared unexpectedly. He was declared to be one among the top 12 guys. It remained a matter of speculation for the viewers. Fox did not announce anything which kept the viewers guessing about the guy. Some viewers also posted in their Twitter accounts about him.
