Mo’Nique Show : Anita Baker

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com) The Grammy winning singer Anita Barker has recently performed at the Mo’Nique Show and left the audience mesmerized with her enchanting voice. She will also perform at the eve of Valentine’s Day at the DeSoto Civic Center. Audience are looking forward to hear to her voice again on that particular day which is celebrated grandly all over America.
At the Mo’Nique Show Anita Baker gave a lively performance. She performed two of her beautiful songs “Sweet Love” and “Fairy Tales” which according to the listeners was electrifying to the mind, but soothing for the soul at the same time. Though she performed from her old songs she is now concentrating on the R&B balladry style.
Anita Baker who herself has said that she has grown up listening to a host of Jazz music puts all those learning into her voice when she sings. This makes her performances all the more soulful and melodious. Anita Baker started her career as a singer in Detroit band Chapter 8. This band provided her with all the opportunity to sing different songs which it played. Her Voice shows the versatility due to this kind of training. However, her voice got a leverage only when she released her solo album.

Though many believe that her voice has suffered a change due to her age every body agree to it that her voice still holds that melodious enchanting strain.
