NEW DELHI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- The popular Dragon Ball Z series which is now technically deemed to be obsolete, may make its way back into the US market in a modified version. They will return in the form of DVDs in colorfully attractive packaging, containing 42 episodes of the popular series, a 48-page art book in an attractive yellow cover. When Funimation received the license for Dragon Ball, the publisher announced that people would keep buying more these DVD sets, lured by their attractively packaged boxes.
However, the new Dragon Ball Series is not entirely the original series American viewers have been so fond of for about 14 years or so. The latest version has a variant and improvised opening and closing episodes and also a different soundtrack. It is also more channelized and compact in its storyline. In the latest version the main character Goku can now deliver punches to his opponents after only two episodes or so, while in the original version it would have taken him at least 10 years. Though some final details like the pricing and the cast for the dub have not been announced yet, it looks like Dragon Balls Z will again make a comeback in its modified version and will remain popular with its viewers.
Dragon Ball Z series with its vast range had inspired a range of games based on the episodes in the popular animated production. The games are charged with a thrilling fighting atmosphere and fun moves and counter-moves that keep the players engrossed. The famous Dragon Ball Z sprung from the legendary series Dragon Balls which primarily inspired and introduced the world of animation.
