LONDON - Anni-Frid Lyngstad has confessed she had moments of regrets during her time as an ABBA bandmate.
The 64-year-old, one of the four members of the Swedish pop group that split in 1983, revealed she sometimes craved for a normal life.
“I think it was the right moment for us to split, actually, because we’d been two couples who had been together for 12 or 13 years and everyone wanted to do something else. And I had my moments (of regretting ABBA), I must honestly say,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
But she added: “But it’s better to have a positive attitude because there’s no way you can escape ABBA. There’s no point in regretting anything because that was the time when we were excited about dancing and dressing like that!” (ANI)
