Ivanova ‘ronnie Was Proud Of My Reality Tv Stint’

EKATERINA IVANOVA got her ex RONNIE WOOD’s seal of approval for her short-lived stint on U.K. reality show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER - despite romping with Swedish singer BASSHUNTER.

The former cocktail waitress was thrown out of the Big Brother house on Friday (15Jan10) after just a week on the show, despite steamy on-screen smooches with the Euro-pop sensation.

Although she was not a hit with British TV audiences, Ivanova insists her former Rolling Stones lover - who she split from in December (09) - was “proud” of her behaviour on the show.

She tells Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, “Ronnie told me he thought I was great. He said he’s been staying watching me in the house all hours. He said he was really proud of me for being myself and that he really misses me.”

But the stunning 21 year old insists there is little hope for the pair’s romance to be reignited: “There’s still a strong connection there. But that chapter is over.”

Wood was cautioned for assaulting Ivanova during a violent argument days before they broke up. He split from wife of 23 years, Jo, in 2008 after his affair with Ivanova was made public.
