Most women pick Ben Affleck look-a-like sperm donor

LONDON - Ben Affleck, the star of Armageddon and Pearl Harbor, has topped sperm bank California Cryobank’s celebrity look-a-like sperm donors list.
The California Cryobank offers women the chance to pick celebrity look-a-like donors, in fact, the clinic allows single women and infertile couples to choose from “anyone famous enough to be found on the web” and has hundreds of celebrity doppelgangers on its books.
The list includes look-a-likes of leading lights like Tiger Woods, Prince William and Tom Cruise.
But that’s not all. The one-of-a-kind bank also allows women and infertile couples to choose a Hollywood hybrid, a donor whose features combine likenesses to several celebrities.
Scott Brown, a Cryobank spokesman, told the Daily Telegraph: “People want to make some connection to the donor and this gives them something tangible. It personalises and humanises the process. I don’t think it’s about designer babies, it’s about communication.
“We’re not suggesting your child will look like a celebrity. Genetics is a complicated business. I think the public perception is baby shopping and that couldn’t be further from the truth.”
The cryobank’s website warns: “No celebrity is meant as an exact match for any donor, nor should you assume that your future children will look like any celebrity listed.” (ANI)
