Sandra Bullock wins ‘Entertainer of the Year’ title

LONDON - Hollywood star Sandra Bullock has been named ‘Entertainer of the Year’ by Entertainment Weekly magazine.
The star of hit 2009 films ‘The Proposal’ and ‘The Blind Side’ pushed the cast of ‘True Blood’ to second, while Lady Gaga came in third.
The list of Top 10 entertainers of the year also included Taylor Swift, Alec Baldwin, Meryl Streep, Ryan Reynolds, American Idol star Adam Lambert and moviemaker James Cameron, reports the Daily Star.
The 45-year-old star recently revealed that she was ‘beyond stunned’ when she found she had been nominated against her idols Dame Helen Mirren and Meryl Streep for two top honours at the Golden Globe Awards.
Bullock has landed nominations for Best Actress in both the Drama and Comedy or Musical fields for ‘The Blind Side’ and ‘The Proposal’, respectively.
“I am beyond stunned. Just to be included in the company of these amazing women I have so admired (sic) thru the years, has left me slack jawed with awe,” she said in a statement. (ANI)
