COURTNEY LOVE has taken to the Internet to reach out to her daughter FRANCES BEAN COBAIN - just hours after a judge banned her from having any contact with the teenager.

The 17 year old was placed under the temporary guardianship of her late father Kurt Cobain’s mother, Wendy O’Connor, and his sister, Kimberly Dawn Cobain, on Friday (11Dec09), leaving Love furious.

She wrote a series of angry posts on social networking website Facebook earlier this week (begs14Dec09), attacking her daughter for choosing to live with her in-laws.

A judge issued a temporary restraining order against the Hole frontwoman on Wednesday (16Dec09), barring her from having any direct or indirect contact with her daughter.

But Love has gone back to her Facebook page to address Frances again, begging her to work hard and not to follow in the footsteps of Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn, who, at 18, is an unmarried mother.

She writes, “There’s not a whole lot I can do about it (guardianship). This is like a hand grenade got thrown into our lives and it’s not Frances! I am angry at these people not Frances (sic).

“I’d just prefer she not become (sic) Jaimie L Spears, she should go be a writer or an artist which I support 100% but this is a circus and it pains me cos I know she hates it.”

A hearing to make the restraining order permanent is set for 5 January (10).
