Ll Cool J Has Big Ideas For Jackson Grammy Tribute
By WENNThursday, December 3, 2009
Grammy Nominations Concert host LL COOL J has given Recording Academy bosses plenty to think about as they plan a MICHAEL JACKSON tribute for music’s big night at the end of January (10).
The rapper remembered the late King of Pop during the nominations show in Los Angeles on Wednesday (02Dec09) and now he has suggested organisers of the Grammy Awards call on Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Usher and other big names inspired by Jackson to perform to the pop star’s Billie Jean.
LL Cool J says, “That’s what I think would be hot.”
And Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow admits he’s taking all suggestions about a Jackson tribute seriously: “Michael Jackson is important to us. Michael is iconic.”

Please do a tribute to Michael Jackson at the Grammy’s. He deserves to be honored. His Brother’s should do some tribute songs. Also would love to see Usher, Justin T and Chris Brown do some songs While showing pictures and videos of michael in the Background. Maybe have all the artists including his Brothers up on stage at once singing Heal the world. Wow that would be incredible |

As a fan of MJ I would love to see a tribute at the Grammy’s. After all he is the greatest Entertainer that’s ever lived. I think His brothers should do a tribute such as I”ll be there or Heal the world. What would really be awesome is to have them come out like they did at mj’s 30th anniversry special. They were all Dressed like astronauts and when they all take there helmets off have Janet be one of them as they go on to sing some of the jackson 5 songs. |
