CEO of Country Music Association since 2007 has resigned, no reason given in statement

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The CEO of the Nashville-based Country Music Association has resigned effective immediately.
The association announced the resignation of Tammy Genovese in a news release Wednesday. No reason was given for her departure.
Genovese began her career with the trade group in 1985 and had been CEO since 2007.
The association is best known for its awards show held each fall. It also sponsors a music festival every June.
