Lautner’s Secret Senior Bowling Hangout

Teen idol TAYLOR LAUTNER found a way to dodge mobs of screaming teenage fans while filming THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON - he hid in a senior citizen’s bowling alley.
The 17-year-old heartthrob’s fanbase of overeager girls grew exponentially while he was holed up in Vancouver, Canada filming the vampire franchise with co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Lautner admits he was forced to get creative when he needed an escape from the hysteria. And he was delighted to discover geriatrics didn’t know who he was.
He says, “It’s tough. We don’t have much down time… But also everybody knows we’re in the city, so we have to choose wisely where we hang out. My hangout was the senior citizen bowling alley… There’s nobody under the age of 80 there. Not one person (recognised me).”
