WASHINGTON - Reese Witherspoon lent in a helping hand to raise 2 million dollars for a women’s empowerment charity in New York.
The ‘Legally Blonde’ actress did her bit at The Avon Foundation’s Champions Who Change Women’s Lives event.
The 33-year-old, who was also joined by stars including actress Paula Patton, said she was more than happy to be a part of such a prominent organisation.
“It was just great… working with Avon and this incredible foundation and what they do,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
“(The fundraiser) was just an extension of what they’ve been doing,” she added. (ANI)
