Reports: Limbaugh, Checketts interested in Rams

ST. LOUIS — Published and broadcast reports say radio personality Rush Limbaugh and St. Louis Blues owner Dave Checketts are joining together in a bid to purchase the St. Louis Rams.

KMOX Radio and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch report that the Checketts group has made a bid on the Rams and would keep the team in St. Louis. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello declined comment to The Associated Press on Tuesday, and the Rams said in a statement that a “strategic review” continues.

In a statement to KMOX, Limbaugh confirms the bid but would not name additional partners.

Georgia Frontiere moved the Rams from Los Angeles to St. Louis in 1995. She died in January 2008 and her two children are now majority owners.

News have been leaking out about the sport magnate, Dave Checketts’ interest to buy the St. Louis Rams from Chip Rosenbloom, along with Rush Limbaugh – who will presumably use the money he’s saved from buying generic painkillers instead brand name. (Ouch!) It makes sense – the Rams are off to an awful start, having been utterly humiliated by the Seahawks – who, let’s face it, aren’t exactly up to snuff as of late. An NFL franchise is a big buy – it will take more than payday loans to buy the rams.

It would be a very, very sad day if any player of african descent could in good conscience play for a team or otherwise help this guy profit off their labor. He non apologetic nor does hide his outright disdain for people of color, women and anybody that doesn’t kowtow to him and nod agreeingly like sheep to warped bigoted comments.

I bet Rush can’t wait to get into the Ram’s locker room. Do a Google search of Limbaugh+gay and you’ll see why.
