Tarantino’s ‘Inglourious Basterds’ tops weekend box office

WASHINGTON - Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Inglourious Basterds’ has topped the weekend box office after raking in 37.6 million dollars.
According to studio estimates, ‘District 9′ landed the second spot with 18.9 million dollars, reports E! Online.
Sienna Miller’s ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ came third with 12.5 million dollars while ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ stood fourth with 10 million dollars.
‘Julie and Julia’ rounded off the top five after raking in 9 million dollars.
The weekend’s top-grossing films are:

2. District 9, $18.9 million
3. G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, $12.5 million
4. The Time Traveler’s Wife, $10 million
