New York City police criticises Robert Pattinson’s security team

LONDON - ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson’s security team has been criticised by New York City police officials, who say that the actor’s bodyguards are incapable of handling the mobs.
Pattinson, 23, has been shooting his new movie ‘Remember Me’ in the Big Apple, and was recently struck by a taxi while trying to escape a group of over-excited fans.
The New York City Police officials have insisted that actor needs better minders to cope with mounting safety concerns.
“Enough is enough. His security people aren’t up to the task of keeping him safe, and they have no idea how to deal with the crowds this guy attracts,” the Daily Star quoted a police source as telling IrishCentral.com.
Just last month, Pattinson urged his fans to treat him with more respect and keep their distance, admitting he is often scared to go outside because of the screaming girls who follow his every move. (ANI)
