LONDON - Cops probing late Michael Jackson’s mysterious death have stepped up the hunt for Dr. Conard Murray’s assistant.

Murray, 51, is at the centre of a homicide inquiry, after it was discovered that he kept a secret stash of drugs in a cupboard at Jackson’s mansion.

The investigation team are desperate to find Stacey Howe after seizing emails sent from her account.

The messages are at the centre of a criminal investigation that could see Jackson’s personal physician charged with manslaughter as early as this week, reports the Daily Star.

A search warrant last week named him as a key suspect in the manslaughter investigation.

Autopsy results are expected to show the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker was killed by a fatal injection, further linking his doctor with the death.

Paramedics who rushed the king of pop to hospital claimed that Jackson was already dead when they reached his Los Angeles home, but Murray insisted that they took him to hospital rather than pronounce him dead at the scene. (ANI)
