14 terrorists killed in Swat hideout attacks, claims Pak Army

terroristsPESHAWAR - The Pakistan Army has claimed that it has killed 14 militants during an operation in Swat on Monday, while four soldiers got wounded.

During an operation in Thana area, security forces killed 14 terrorists and seized one 14.5 gun barrel, while seizing 26 detonators. One soldier was injured when an IED exploded.

Two soldiers were injured during an exchange of fire in Pir Patai ridge, the Dawn reports.

One child was killed and 10 others were injured when an IED planted by terrorists exploded near a vehicle in the village of Sarati Sherangal in Upper Dir.

During an operation in Rajgae Kandao area of Buner, security forces captured two terrorists and seized five kilograms of explosives.

In Bannu, militants fired mortars at the Jani Khel fort, in which a policeman and a soldier were injured. (ANI)
