Lennar, Boston Scientific, Imax are big movers
NEW YORK — Stocks that moved substantially or traded heavily Thursday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market:

Lennar Corp., up $1.37 at $9.19
The homebuilder’s loss grew during its fiscal second quarter, but orders for new homes leapt 63 percent from the previous quarter.
Hertz Global Holdings Inc., up $1.12 at $8.13
The car rental company’s outlook, based on heavy demand for its vehicles in the U.S. and Europe, far exceeded Wall Street expectations.
ConAgra Foods Inc., down 85 cents at $19.18
Strong sales of the company’s frozen meals to consumers grew revenues, but profit fell because of a year-ago gain from an asset sale.
Boston Scientific Corp., up 49 cents at $10
The medical devices company named Ray Elliott, a former chief of orthopedic implant maker Zimmer Holdings, as its new CEO.

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., up $2.69 at $31.08
After picking up market share from the liquidation of competitor Linens ‘N Things, the home furnishings retailer’s profit and sales grew.
Insmed Inc., down $1.25 at $1.08
The drug maker said its growth hormone deficiency drug Iplex failed to treat symptoms of muscular dystrophy in a clinical study.
Paychex Inc., down $1.65 at $25.06
Fourth quarter profit and sales missed analysts’ estimates, and the payroll and personnel services company’s 2010 guidance fell short.
Imax Corp., up 68 cents at $7.82
The hit “Transformers” sequel, which plays this weekend on 169 Imax screens, will boost the theater operator’s profit, an analyst said.
