Nora Ephron brings stories of clothes to the stage

NEW YORK — Funny what kind of memories that clothes and fashion accessories can trigger.

They are the subject of “Love, Loss and What I Wore,” a series of vignettes and monologues by screenwriters Nora Ephron (EF’-ruhn) and Delia (DEEL’-yuh) Ephron heading to off-Broadway.

The 12-week engagement will feature three different five-person casts, performing in four-week cycles. Among the performers signed for the project are Tyne Daly and Rosie O’Donnell.

The collection of stories opens Oct. 1 at the off-Broadway’s Westside Theatre. Previews begin Sept. 21.
