MELBOURNE - Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has said he is just a kid who likes pushing the boundaries.
The 23-year-old, who has had a string of bust ups with the law, revealed he is not different from other males of his age when it comes to experimenting.
“I’m fallible. I’m a human being and I’m 23 and I’m a dude and I do what 23-year-old males do, which is limit-testing, law-testing, all of it,” The Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
“I’m not like every other kid in a number of regards, but I am just a kid. And I’m figuring it out, I don’t know what the f… I’m doing. It’s hard to validate yourself in terms of your career when you really don’t know what your job description is. I mean, ‘actor’ is pretty ambiguous,” he added.
LaBeouf was charged after a run-in with a security guard at a Chicago pharmacy in November 2007.
He landed in more trouble later when he was caught smoking where he should have not, missed a court hearing and had an arrest warrant issued.
Last July, the star ended up in a hospital after he flipped his car and crushed his left hand though he eventually got a clean chit.
His licence was, however, suspended for a year after he refused to undergo a breathalyser test at the scene. (ANI)
