Britney announces Australian leg of Circus tour

MELBOURNE - Britney Spears will take her Circus tour to Australia, her first in the country.

The pop princess revealed she was bent on entertaining the crowd Down Under with the three-week tour.

“I’ve wanted to tour Australia for quite some time,” News.com.au quoted her as telling the Herald Sun.

“My Circus tour is the best show I have ever created and I can’t wait to perform it,” she added.

The singer will perform in Perth’ Burswood Dome on November 6, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on November 11 and 12, Sydney’s Acer Arena on November 19 and 20 and the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on November 24.
Tour Producer Steve Dixon said the Australian leg was Britney’s idea, adding: “Britney really wants to come to Australia.”

The show, tickets for which have been priced at 99, 149 and 199 dollars, will feature almost 50 performers, including a dance team, acrobats, aerial performers, contortionists, a fire breather, stilt walkers and magicians. (ANI)
