Bette Midler marks her 100th show in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Bette Midler has staged the 100th performance of “The Showgirl Must Go On” in Las Vegas.

Midler’s performance on Sunday kicked off a four-week run at the Caesars Palace Colosseum.

The 63-year-old singer-actress says the show has gotten tighter and quicker, becoming the sort of “whirlwind” that Las Vegas audiences expect.

Midler has another 100 shows left on her contract, but says she’s not yet looking at whether she’ll re-up for more.
