LONDON - Former Academy Awards host Hugh Jackman has a tip for this year’s presenters-”Stay off the booze!”

The 2009 host told James Franco and Anne Hathaway they could let the wine flow freely after the show.

“To each his own but, for me, I wouldn’t advise them to have a drink before. I can’t relax at the idea of drinking before a four- hour gig. It’s like, no. Afterwards - oh yes,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

And Hugh told them to take a snack, adding: “It’s a long show. I had some cookies during one of the commercial breaks and I got mobbed.

“You’ve never seen anything like it, all these A-list actors mobbing for me chocolate-chip cookies,” he said.

He also said the first hour of the ceremony, which will be held next Sunday, is the best.

He added, “After an hour, an hour-and-a-half, people start leaving, people start losing. Then it becomes a different atmosphere.” (ANI)
