LONDON - Sir Elton John recently shocked millions of BBC’s Radio 2 listeners when he uttered the F-word live on air during a family radio show.
During the breakfast show, DJ Chris Evans was telling the flamboyant singer how fellow musician Jools Holland begins his day by playing the piano, when John heaved a sigh - and uttered the F-word, reports the Daily Express.
The pair both immediately said sorry to listeners and the star later issued a formal apology, saying: “I’m really, really sorry that I said that naughty word, but I can’t believe anyone would want to get up first thing in the morning and play the piano.”
The BBC also issued an apology, adding: “Both Sir Elton and Chris apologised many times on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show for the language used by Sir Elton. The BBC apologises if any offence was caused.”(ANI)
