Bon Jovi to star with De Niro in new movie

LONDON - American rocker Jon Bon Jovi, who last appeared in the 2006 film National Lampoon’s Pucked, is likely to work with Robert De Niro in the upcoming movie New Year’s Eve.

Contactmusic.com reports the movie is considered to be the follow-up to last year’s successful romantic-comedy Valentine’s Day.

Bon Jovi is to play a successful rock star who accidentally bumps into his ex-girlfriend, played by Halle Berry, at a party.

The film, slated for Dec 9 release, has a star-studded cast which also has Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher and Sofia Vergara.
