‘The Social Network’ bags National Critics Award

LONDON - David Fincher’s ‘The Social Network’ has bagged four awards from the National Society of Film Critics, USA.
The film starring Jessie Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, was named the best picture, reports BBC News.
Fincher was named the best director and writer while Eisenberg bagged the best actor and Aaron Sorkin claimed the best screenplay award.
Eisenberg beat off competition from Colin Firth for ‘The King’s Speech’.
The cast of ‘The Social Network’ was also given the ensemble performance award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
‘The Social Network’ is widely considered as one of the front-runners for the Oscar nominations, which will be announced on January 25. (ANI)
