When Stewart smacked Pattinson

LOS ANGELES - Actress Kristen Stewart had an awkward moment when she accidentally hit “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson at People’s Choice Awards.

The incident happened when host Queen Latifah asked Stewart, Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to stand up and wave to the audience.

“Kristen accidentally smacked Rob… She mouthed, ‘Oh my God! Sorry!’ and got even more uncomfortable than she already was,” usmagazine.com quoted a witness as saying.

The 20-year-old, who beat Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Katherine Heigl and Julia Roberts to walk away with the favorite movie actress award for “Eclipse”, had a series of uncomfortable moments at the funtion.

Lautner came to her aid when she had trouble climbing the stairs in her Jimmy Choo peep-toes as they went to collect the best movie award. She even fumbled during her acceptance speech.
