MUMBAI - After featuring together in “Apne”, the three Deols - Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby - took three years to return together on the silver screen. The reason, Bobby says, is the lack of a good comedy script.

The father and sons will now be seen together in “Yamla Pagla Deewana”, which is releasing Jan 14.

” ‘Apne’ was a film people were really touched by. They said it really made them cry; so my dad decided that the next time we come together we’ll do a comedy. But it’s not easy to find a good comedy script.

“It took us one and a half years to work on a good script. That’s why it took us time to return together,” Bobby told IANS.

I have no plans of shifting base from US: Omi Vaidya

Even though Omi “Chatur” Vaidya is getting plum offers in Bollywood, the actor has no plans of shifting base from Los Angeles to Mumbai.

“I have a house in LA and my wife is getting her PhD and for the next two years she is going to be there. Plus, my family is also there; so no plan of shifting my entire base here. I’ll be coming back and forth; that’s my plan,” the actor told IANS.

After hit film “3 Idiots”, Omi will be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji”, which hits the screen Jan 28.

Rajkumar Gupta to make a love story next

After two hard-hitting, gritty films “Aamir” and “No One Killed Jessica”, director Rajkumar Gupta is penning a love story.

“I’m working on a film called ‘Rapchik Romance’. It’s on scripting stage and it’s a love story,” Gupta told IANS.

The cast of the film is yet to be decided.
