NEW YORK - A photographer is suing Kanye West for assaulting him at a party two years ago.
Michael Vazquez claims that he was ‘assaulted, battered, beat and threatened’ by the rapper and his security personnel during a 2008 party under the Queensboro Bridge, reports the New York Daily News.
Vazquez has now demanded unspecified damages for the assault he suffered at the hands of the ‘Gold Digger’ hitmaker and several security guards at Guastavino’s on East 59th Street.
According to a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, the photographer said he was an invitee to film and photograph the May 14, 2008 party marking the 25th anniversary of Casio’s G-Shock.
West, who was reportedly paid 1 million dollars for the appearance, made the show a memorable one, backed by four topless dancers in astronaut helmets.
“The actions by defendants Kanye West’s agents, servants and/or employees was committed with malice,” said the suit. (ANI)
