‘Blur’ reuniting in 2011 for new album

MELBOURNE - Britpop legends ‘Blur’ are set to reunite in the New Year for a new album.
The band has scheduled recording sessions for next month and, if happy with the results, they will release an album towards the end of 2011.
“The lads will be getting in the studio early next year. There’s no concrete plans regarding what they will do with the material, but if they’re all agreed it could become the first full Blur album to feature all four members in over a decade,” the Herald Sun quoted a source as telling the Sun in the UK.
The last album by the entire band - Damon Albarn, Alex James, Dave Rowntree and Graham Coxon - was 1999’s 13. Guitarist Graham quit in 2002 during sessions that resulted in 2003’s Think Tank. (ANI)
